Portland Fall RV & Van Show offers food, fun and more

This weekend, hundreds of RVers from the Oregon area will be flocking to the Portland Fall RV & Van Show for a chance to check out all the latest vehicles from major manufacturers, as well as a number of seminars that will show off some ways to keep RV vacations fun.

Motorhomes and RVs of every make and model will be on display, making it the perfect show for those seeking a new vehicle. Destination experts will also be onhand from major campgrounds all across the Pacific Northwest to give travelers some ideas of where to take their next trip.

One of the centerpieces of the weekend will be presentations by host Evanne Schmarder as she presents the RV Cooking show. Those who have tuned into RVNN will likely have seen similar presentations made on "RV Kitchen." Schmarder has years of experience out on the road and knows all the tastiest treats for keeping RVers well-fed. Whether you want to know how to get perfect pizza without calling the Domino's guy to your campsite or how to make perfect sliders, Schmarder will show off her know-how while telling some entertaining tales from the road.

The show will be held from September 15th through the 18th at the Portland Expo Center. Adult tickets cost $8, while kids under 12 get in free. Discounts are available on the official website.
