Bunk House Camper from the 60s

1966 Mustang Travel Trailer

This trailer is one of the last of its kind, however, it is one of the very earliest of the bunk house campers and has  quite a remarkable kitchen, including a 2 bin stainless steel sink, Coleman style wall furnace, and one of the fist 3 way RV refrigerators. This unit was donated to the RV/MH Hall of Fame by the Mustang plant manager.

I really like these old throwback camper shows but this one made me scratch my head. You advertise that it’s an old bunk house style camper but then never show a single image of the sleeping area? IS there damage to that area so that there are no beds in it or was this just an oversight?

    Thanks for the shows!

Jason – Sorry for the delay – your comment got buried and just now found.

The upstairs in the unit was quite cramped and almost impossible to get in and photograph with the lighting rig we had on site that day. There were no beds (in fact we wondered how kids would be able to get out in case of a fire).
