The Bangor Camping and RV Show is back, with grizzly bears

RV enthusiasts living in the Pine Tree State have a reason to celebrate this year. For the first time in two years, the Bangor Camping and RV Show will return to the Bangor Auditorium and Civic Center. This will be the 23rd show, and it offers some very unique exhibitions, according to the Bangor Daily News.

This may be the only RV show in the nation where you can see real live grizzly bears. Dexter Osborn will be presenting a show titled “A Grizzly Experience,” which will feature a full grown grizzly bear and two cubs. Of course, there will also be plenty of RVs and RV accessories on hand for convention goers to peruse.

Financial issues prompted the convention, which typically brings in between 1,800 to 3,000 people annually, to take a two-year hiatus. However, thanks to a few RV and marine centers in Maine, the show is back, Bass Park Director Mike Dyer told the news source.

In addition to visiting the convention, Maine offers scenery and adventure to those traveling in an RV. According to Good Sam Club, there are four RV campgrounds in Bangor alone.
