HFCS

  • What is it?
  • Another Sweetener
  • Why is it bad?
  • Weight Gain, Type 2 Diabetes, High Triglycerides, Increased Body Fat (abdominal)
  • Alternative
  • Honey, Molasses, Maple Sugar (unprocessed), Raw Sugar

ARTIFICIAL FOOD COLORING

  • What is it?
  • Color additive to produce the color of the food you want.
  • Why is it bad?
  • Allergic reactions, Hyperactivity in Children, Certain Cancers, Brain Damage.

  • Beet Juice, Pureed Vegetables, Fruit (Raspberries, Strawberries, Blueberries, Peaches, etc.) Orange Juice, Sweet Potatoes.

BHA & BHT

  • What is it?
  • Fat Preserver
  • Why is it bad?
  • Hyperactivity in children, Certain Cancers, Carcinogenic, Behavior Changes
